How to order school photos?It's easy! You go to julyefortier.gotphoto.com and enter the code that you received through your child. You may also have been emailed a direct link. If you have misplaced this email, please contact me by email at ecole@julyefortier.com so that the access code can be returned to you. Here is the full video that explains the steps to order:

Will I get a group photo?Each student will receive a free 4x6 printed class photo. No purchase necessary. If you would like to receive another copy, you can purchase one on the ordering site for $5. Note that it is not possible to order the group photo in digital format. Here is an explanatory video for ordering your child's class photo:

How should I dress my child?It is recommended to wear clothes in which the child is comfortable. We suggest neutral, uniform colors with delicate patterns.

When is Photo Day?Stay tuned for communications from the school. Schools usually add School Picture Day to the calendar or in the Info-Letter sent to parents.

How do I view photos of multiple students?**Note that it is not possible to create a package with the poses of two (2) different children**. However, you can make one (1) payment for several children. To view and order photos of several children: All you have to do is enter the code for each additional child on the home page. To be able to select the photos of the other children, all you have to do is select the desired package then select the child's name by clicking above the photos.

How do I order an additional group photo?Each student will receive a class photo in printed format free of charge when the photos are handed in. If you would like to receive another copy, you can order it on the ordering site for $5. Note that it is not possible to order the group photo in digital format. What background will be used?It's difficult to decide what background will be used before photo day. - If the weather is good, we prefer outdoor photos (1st choice). - If there is any indication of rain or strong winds, we will have to take the photos indoors (2nd choice). Often, we use a room in the school (natural look of the school). - If there is no option offered to us, we will use a backdrop selected by the school (3rd choice). If the school has previously chosen the backdrop, it will be sent to the parent.

Will you do my child's hair?We quickly replace the child's hair but we cannot restyle it for hygiene reasons. If your child brings their own comb, they will be able to style their hair with the help of a parent volunteer or their teacher.

My child was absent on photo day. Do you offer a retake?Only ABSENT students will be able to have a retake. We will contact the parents of absent students to invite them to a retake which will take place on a Saturday in November. Unfortunately, we are unable to visit schools a second time and offer a retake to all students who do not like their photos.

Can my child wear glasses?Of course! If your child wears glasses, we will photograph him/her with them. If there are any apparent reflections, they will be removed in post-processing.

What is the size of the free group photo?Each student will receive a free 4x6 printed class photo. No purchase necessary. Why a 4x6 instead of a 5x7? Due to the increase in costs related to school photography (printing, web platform, etc.). Instead of increasing the costs of the packages offered, we have made the decision to reduce the size of the group photo.

I lost my access code. How do I recover it?You just have to send us your request by completing all the fields of the contact form. Your request must include: - Name of the school - Name of the teacher or the Group - Child's full name We will send you the access code when we have received the correct information.

I don't like my pictures. Do you offer a retake?Although we give 110% to take the best portrait of your child, it can be difficult to achieve the perfect photo. Unfortunately, we are unable to visit schools a second time and offer a retake to all students who do not like their photo. We therefore do not offer retakes if you are not satisfied with the photos.

What are the benefits of digital packages?Choosing a digital photo instead of a printed set offers several advantages: 1. Flexibility and accessibility: - Digital photos can be easily shared via email, social media or messaging services. - They can be stored on different devices (computer, phone, tablet) and on online storage platforms (cloud). 2. Cost saving: - A single digital photo can be reprinted as many times as desired, eliminating the need to purchase additional copies. 3. Quality and editing: - They are sent to you in high resolution and free of reproduction rights. - You have the possibility to crop the photo according to your preferences without altering the original. 4. Versatile use: - Digital photos can be used for various projects, such as photo albums, greeting cards, slideshows, or desktop wallpapers. - They can be adapted for different formats and resolutions depending on the intended use (web, print, etc.). 5. Reduced environmental impact: - By choosing digital photos, you reduce paper and ink consumption, thus contributing to a more ecological approach.

What payment methods are accepted online?The only payment method accepted for transactions via the online platform is by credit card. A safe and easy way to use. The cards accepted are: Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Visa-Debit cards.

How do I upload my photos?When your order is placed and you have received the purchase confirmation, another email with the download link will be sent to you within 5 minutes of the transaction. Check your Spam and Junk folder. To download the photos to your computer, simply click on the download link and save them to your folders. To download the photos to your mobile device (cell phone), you need to click on the download link. You open the folder where the photos were downloaded (Downloads) and when the photos appear, you can click on each photo to save them to your Photo Album.

What are the delivery times?Photos are delivered to your child's school approximately 2 weeks after the deadline. If you have chosen to have your photos delivered to your home, the delivery time is shorter, approximately 5 business days after placing your order. Please note that if you order after the deadline has passed, you will not have the option to have your photos delivered to the school for free. It is therefore preferable to choose the digital packages (at no extra cost) or home delivery (delivery fees apply).

How will the photos be received?Photos are printed as collage on one sheet. If the package includes several photos on the same sheet, it will be the same photo per sheet. This practice is justified by the fact that it allows the production and printing process to be optimized. By avoiding frequent format changes during manufacturing, the machine can operate more efficiently, reducing production time and costs. As for the necessary cutting, there is no miracle recipe, a good pair of scissors will do the trick to cut out your photos. 😊 Here is an example of the printouts:

The order deadline has passed. Can I still order?Of course you can order! The access codes are active for 6 months. If you forgot to order the photos before the deadline written on the box, you can still do it (6 months maximum). However, you will not have the option to have your photos delivered to the school for free. It is therefore preferable to choose the digital packages (no additional charge) or home delivery (delivery fees apply).

Do you offer a discount for large families?Unfortunately, we do not offer discounts for large families at this time. This decision is due to the current price increases that are also affecting us.

Do you accept checks?Unfortunately, checks are not accepted.

Do you offer retouching service?We offer the retouching service only upon request. Please contact us via the contact form as soon as you receive the proofs so that we can assess whether retouching is possible.

J'ai plusieurs enfants. Puis-je décomposer un forfait avec des poses différentes?Les forfaits indiqués sont pour 1 code (1 enfant). Il n'est donc pas possible de choisir un forfait et de le construire avec des poses de plusieurs enfants. Par exemple, si vous choisissez le forfait Numérique 2 poses, ce sera 2 poses différentes du MÊME ENFANT.
